Nordic Ski: Bosek, Struck take home top honors

The Alexandria Nordic ski team handed out eight total awards following the 2018-19 season.

Sophomore Kaisa Bosek and senior Noah Struck took home the MVP awards for the boys and girls, respectively. Bosek was one of three Cardinals to qualify for the state tournament.

Stormy Hegg wrapped up her senior season by taking home the Hardest Worker Award. She also qualified or the state tournament with teammates Bosek and junior Bethany Miller. Brian Denke took home the Hardest Worker Award for the boys.

The Most Improved Award was given to junior Amanda Bittmann and freshman Matthew Johnson. The Coaches Awards were won by senior Spencer Johnson and junior Cameo Neumann.

Come next season, the Cardinals are bringing back a strong core of skiers. Two state participants return to a young, talented roster for the girls. Alexandria graduated just eight seniors combined between the boys and the girls team.
