The Alexandria boys soccer team had only a few seniors on this year's roster, but the Cardinals leaned on them throughout the season.

One of those seniors in goaltender Zach Wosepka was named the Cardinals' MVP for his efforts. Fellow senior JJ Foster added the Most Valuable Forward Award after leading the Cardinals in scoring.

Foster and junior midfielder Joshua Kietzmann received All-Central Lakes Conference honors, while Nathan Schneiderhan, Wosepka and Graham Peterson were honorable-mention selections. Kietzmann also took home Alexandria's Most Valuable Midfielder Award and Golden Boot Award, while Schneiderhan was named the Cardinals' most valuable defender.

Sophomore midfielder Jaegar Steele was named the team's most-improved player. Junior midfielder Jacob Siira rounded out the team-award winners by earning the Hardest Worker Award.

Alexandria finished the season at 5-13 overall and 2-10 in the CLC. The Cardinals named Schneiderhan, Kietzmann and sophomore Jacob Partington as their team captains for the 2019 season.
