The Alexandria girls soccer team got progressively better throughout the fall season, and the Cardinals honored the athletes responsible for that at the season-ending awards banquet.

Senior Kaye Paschka took home the top honor after being named Alexandria's MVP. She was one of four Cardinals named All-Central Lakes Conference as Molly Panther, Shea Issendorf and Sophia Vinje joined her on that list. Abby Johnson, McKenna Ellingson and Hailey Eggebraaten were honorable-mention selections.

Panther earned the Cardinals' Hustle Award for her effort on the field. Myah Kremer was named the team's most-improved player, and Lizzie Schoenrock took home the Coaches' Award.

The Cardinals had six seniors on this year's team. Paschka, Georgia Lussenhop, Ellingson, Johnson, Olivia Kopp and Schoenrock were all recognized at the banquet, as well, for helping Alexandria to a 7-9-1 record overall. The Cardinals went 7-4-1 over their final 12 games after starting the season at 0-5.
