Tennis: Dykema goes 1-2 at state singles tournament

Osakis' Tia Dykema ended up finishing the state singles tournament 1-2 after helping the Silverstreaks to a fourth-place team finish a day earlier.

Roseau’s Jodi Ostroski ended Dykema’s season in the semifinals of the consolation bracket by winning 6-1, 7-5 last Friday morning.

After falling to fourth-seeded Cindy Li of Cotter in the first round by a 6-4, 6-3 score, Dykema dropped to the consolation bracket where she won her matchup against Long-Prairie-Grey Eagles’ Allison Ecker by a 6-0, 4-6, 10-6 score.
