The Alexandria adapted bowling program had another big season that culminated at the state tournament for plenty of these athletes, and the Cardinals honored many students for their success at the season awards banquet.

Nicole Duwenhoegger earned the Most Dedicated Award, while Abby Neale was the most improved athlete. Jon Jahnke finished with the most times in the 400 Club for rolling series of 400 or more in the CI Division, while Matt Senstad took home that honor in the PI Division and Cameron Arndt did the same in the ASD Division.

The Cardinals put six singles and doubles competitors among the top-10 finishers and four teams in that same category at the state tournament this season.

Sophomore Elton Gruber led that group. He finished as the CI Division boys singles champion in 2016. He then came within nine of making it back-to-back titles as Gruber finished second in singles with a 473 this season.
