The Cardinal girls' basketball team went on the road this past Saturday and came back home with an easy 77-33 win over Sauk Rapids-Rice.
Alexandria was ready to go from the opening tip as the Cardinals racked up 46 points by the break.
That was more than enough to take care of the Storm, who was held to just 11 points in the second half.
"It was great to see that consistency as the entire team got in the act throughout the game," head coach Wendy Kohler said. "The Cardinals also accomplished their goal again as they managed a 2:1 assists to turnovers ration."
Angela Christianson led the way again with 28 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Ally Teclaw also reached double figures with 12 points. Ten Cardinal players scored in all as they ran away with their sixth win in the Central Lakes Conference.
Alexandria moved to 6-2 in the CLC and 8-4 overall.
