An 86-year-old Lake Lillian man and a 35-year-old man from Faribault, neither wearing a seat belt, died in a crash Saturday between Lake Lillian and Cosmos. An 83-year-old woman was flown to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with life-threatening injuries.
Ryan Leif Erickson, 63, had been a Blomkest volunteer firefighter since the age of 18. He died in the line of duty Thursday when a large grain bin was blown over by the high winds and fell on him as he was preparing to leave his farm to monitor storms.
