LAKE CARLOS STATE PARK

Migration is the most dangerous thing a bird does, and if they can find open water and food in Minnesota, they'll stay.
Hikers and snowshoers of all ages and abilities will get a chance to traverse Lake Carlos State Park by candle and starlight in February.
Counting birds enables locals to get involved in citizen science, meet people and see birds. All skill levels are welcome as experienced birds can be paired with novices.
