Saturday's nice weather may have been the reason for the good turnout at the Big Rig Easter Hop in Osakis.

A big crowd gathered in the Early Childhood Family Education parking lot April 3 for the event put on by the Osakis Fire Department Auxiliary.

The Easter Bunny was on hand to take pictures with kids, and treats were handed out to all attendees. Kids also got the opportunity to check out fire trucks, an ambulance, police car, semi trucks and several other big rigs.

The auxiliary's Easter event for children is typically held in the Osakis Community Center but with the pandemic, it made sense to move it outside, according to organizers.
