June 28-July 4
As the world outside is changing so will this article. Our goal is to let you know what is going on inside our campus.
This week was our 16th week of campus-wide restrictions at Community Memorial Home in Osakis. There have been no group social activities. Each day, a member of the activity staff goes room to room to see if there are any specific wants and needs that can be met. Some of the requests are to have their hair set and styled, nails done, hang hearts on windows, one-on-one crafts, play a game of cards and some just need to have one-on-one conversation.
On Monday, snacks and beverages were delivered to all residents.
On Tuesday, snacks and beverages were delivered to all residents. Many also enjoyed TV bingo in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, Catholic communion was given. We delivered snacks and beverages to all residents.
On Thursday, snacks and beverages were delivered to all residents. Many also enjoyed TV bingo in the afternoon.
On Friday, we delivered pretzels or puffcorn and beer, wine or soda to all residents for a happy hour.
Happy Fourth of July!
Thank you to all the family and friends who have stopped by for a window visit and/or an outside visit.
If anyone is in the mood to write letters to our residents, do not let fear hold you back.
If you want someone in particular, please call 320-859-6280 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as we need to set it up.
Have a great week!
