The Central Minnesota Tea Party Patriots are sponsoring a program about Oath Keepers, featuring Stewart Rhodes.

The Oath Keepers were founded in 2009 by Stewart Rhodes. He is a Yale Law School graduate, former U.S. Army paratrooper, and a former staffer of Congressman Ron Paul.

Rhodes says his organization stands for a strict interpretation of the Bill of Rights. He also believes one of the primary purposes for his organization is to educate officers and military personnel about the laws they’ve promised to defend.

Rhodes will be speaking at the Browerville Community Center on Monday, April 13. The program starts at 6:30 p.m. and the doors will open prior to that time.

The public is invited to attend. There is no charge, but a free will offering will be accepted. Refreshments will be served.
