The Osakis tennis team lost its second match of the week 7-0 to Staples-Motley at home Thursday.

Head coach Ryan Maddock said Staples-Motley caught the Silverstreaks at the right time on Thursday.

“We ran into a team that played very well today along with us playing physically and mentally tired,” Maddock said. “We will bounce back, just need to regroup.”

Marissa Zarbok and Alayna Eldred played the closest match of the afternoon for the Silverstreaks. They fell in three sets 7-5, 0-6, 7-5.

The loss dropped Osakis to a 13-3 record this season.
