Traffic hazard, truck pulling a farm implement tore a ground wire down, looped it up and put it in the yard, E 8th Ave.

Suspicious activity, caller says there was an exchange out front of the house and he thinks is was drugs, W Pike.

May14

Medical, elderly female fell and has a large bump on her head, bleeding from nose, conscious and breathing, no covid symptoms, transported, W Main.

School resource officer meeting with school staff, E 1st Ave.

18 city nuisance violation letters mailed, Osakis.

17 warnings for students with failing grades, school resource officer spoke to parents and students, Osakis.

Caller needs law enforcement present while she removes her child from the grandparent's home, Forest Park Rd, Alexandria.

Criminal damage to property, vulgarity spray painted on bike trail, received confessions from two juveniles, they will be doing 5 hours of community service each for the city, parents agreed, bike trail/W 1st Ave.

Property damage accident, vehicle hit parked vehicle, one vehicle appears totaled, one driveable, state report, W Main.

Caller reported an attempted extortion on the internet, advised not to respond and block suspect online, W 1st Ave.

May 15

2 warnings for overnight parking on Main St.

Warning for driving conduct and suspicious activity, 111th Ave/230th St.

Misc public, Alexandria.

City nuisance violation, inspected property and residence with city building inspector, W Queen.

Planning and zoning packets.

Assist Todd County with stolen vehicle, located owner and made contact, E Main.

Caller is outside of location to pick up child, mom will not send child out, caller stated that person was texted prior to arrival with no response, knocked on door several times and announced self, no response, neighbor shouted out a window that she is home but not answering, caller requested a copy of the call be emailed to him, W 3rd Ave.

Foot patrol, door checks, Central/Main.

Check welfare, person is worried for juvenile friend, states her dad beat her up prior night, has made suicidal comments and shown pictures of self harm, has not heard from her in about 24 hours, spoke with person who states she is fine and does not know the caller, spoke with caller who stated they met online, informed she was only 13 years old, W Nokomis.

May 16

Loose dog with leash, unable to locate, Central Ave/E Main.

Vehicle unlock, caller states her cat locked her out of her car, opened, E 4th Ave.

May 17

Foot patrol, door checks, Central/Main.

Traffic control for car show drive-by, CR 3/CR82.

Combine came through and knocked down a cable, caller thinks it may be a phone cable, appears to be Spectrum cable, pulled off roadway, E 8th Ave.

May 18

Assist other agency, checking on injured goose, unable to locate, Todd County 2/51.

Warning for speed, 51/2.

Caller is a property manager and would like to speak to an officer about a drunken tenant, warned tenant not to leave her apartment or harass others or she would be detoxed again, W Main.

Caller reporting that her mom stole her boyfriend's phone, spoke with person who stated she did not have the phone, W Main.

Drunk, warned person not to harass fellow apartment tenants, within 5 minutes she was back at it, transported to detox again, W Main.

Assisted Osakis Fire Department with traffic control during a fire call, Fire Hall.

Caller reporting vehicle parked at the school has its lights on and shining in her window for the last 25 minutes, advised motorist to turn off lights if parked, they left instead, E 1st Ave.

Patrolled park, locked restrooms, E Lake.

May 19

Vehicle unlock, W Main.

Assist other agency, Meals on Wheels driver found on ground, assisted on scene, Pheasant Hill Rd.

Attempted scam of money for puppy, W 1st Ave.

Person's license was found in yard and turned into police, left Facebook message for person to pick it up, W Nokomis.

Citation for speed, E Nokomis/Hwy 27.

Person wants to update some information about her ex in the area, Central Ave.

Report of person flashing a pistol at a group of teenagers, W Main.
