Trespassing complaint, caller is feeling disturbed by her neighbor because he trespasses on her property, informed him to stay off property, Main Street E.

Firecracker complaint, fireworks landing on patio from neighbors, Main Street E.

Checked are, locked restrooms.

July 2

Nuisance violation, citation issued, Oak Street W.

Suspicious activity, report of 2 girls on play ground with handgun, contacted girls grandmother about bring fake gun on school grounds, 1st Avenue E.

Warning for expired tabs, 6th Avenue North.

Suspicious person, elderly man walking, unable to locate, all accounted for at West View, 6th Avenue N.


July 3

Driving complaint, caller reported person getting ready to leave her house and is intoxicated, located vehicle at residence, all quiet, 1st Avenue E.

Violation of court order, male and female sleeping in garage, no response when knocking, left message for person and home owner, arrested male on OFP violation, Main Street E.

Updated fire sign to "extreme."

Juvenile trouble, son was assaulted, 12 year old boys throwing rocks at each other, advised to stop, Nokomis Street W.

Medical, transported, Lake Street E.

Medical, transported, Queen Street W.

July 4


Criminal damage to property, brick thrown through window at old meat locker, 2nd Avenue W.

Medical, transported, Main Street W.

Public assist, gas drive-off, left message with owner and requested Alex police to attempt to make contact, person will call and make payment, Nokomis Street W.

Public assist, someone hacked caller's computer, wants law enforcement to contact FBI, possible ongoing mental health issues.

Driving complaint, caller reported pickup all over the road and varying speeds, unable to locate, County Road 3 SE.

July 5

Suspicious activity, person set up Tipi in lot, persons thought it was campground, Nokomis Street E.

Unexpected death, Main Street W.


Animal complaint, lab followed people on trail to town, returned to owner.

Found dog, report of chihuahua with no collar in park, unable to locate, Lake Street E.

Public assist, pipe in roadway, cleared, 1st Avenue E.

Two warnings for speed, 1st Avenue E.

Citation for speed, 1st Avenue E.

July 6

Motorist assist, assisted getting family to hotel, , 8th Avenue E.

Attempted fraud/scam, caller received a call stating they were from the county and they help set up health care directives, Main Street E.

Liquor license, 8th Avenue E.

Medical, transported, Main Street W.

Permit to acquire handgun.

Caller wants to register for POR, address change needed, Nokomis Street W.

Checked area, locked restrooms.

Warning for driving conduct, driver stated phone slid off seat into water, 1st Avenue W.

July 7

Check welfare, caller stated person called him and stated another person beat up his sister, no contact, advised person was arrested recently so couldn't have committed the assault, Main Street E.

Medical, all OK, Nokomis Street E.

Warning for rolling through stop sign, 1st Avenue W.

Patrol, person arrested for warrant, Main Street W.

Warning for speed on 27.

Drug related activity, caller caught daughter and two friends smoking pot, marijuana disposed of and talked to daughter, will handle it in household, 1st Avenue W.

Motorist assist, running out of gas, 8th Avenue E.

Patrol activity, Lake Street.

Warning for stop sign, 4th Avenue E.

Driving complaint, caller reported motorcycle was doing wheelies and driving erratically, had video on 82, warned for offense, 1st Avenue E.
