To the editor:
I have known Bobbie Osterberg since 1992. We served RCC (Rural Cellular Corp) together for 16 years then NetAmerica Alliance for two years. My role was Senior VP of Network & Product Development at RCC then EVP/COO at NetAmerica. Altogether, we served together for 18 years. I promoted Bobbie seven times in that span, each role requiring more creativity, organization and responsibility than the last. She performed in stellar fashion in each role and was a pleasure to work with.
She is transparent, organized, a strong communicator and a role model for leadership. I am confident that her experience in business will serve Alexandria well with disciplined financial management and leadership. I will vote for her and be proud that she is the CEO of my adopted city.
