To the editor:

My husband and I live a couple miles outside of Garfield, near East Moe Lutheran Church. This beautiful country church was one of about 4,500 Protestant churches to close its doors in 2022.

I am writing to offer a very genuine, if not very late, "Thank You" to the individual who rang the bell at East Moe on Christmas Eve. I want you to know that we were listening, and we were so very, very blessed.
