To the editor:

Many are unhappy with joy expressed by Gov. Walz and others demanding abortion rights. Are we not supposed to be a Christian nation? Why are Bible verses in that regard ignored? Exodus 20:13 — "Thou shalt not kill," Deuteronomy 5:17 and Romans 13:9.

We know it's a human being the moment of conception — Isaiah 44:2 and 49:5.

Matthew 18:14: "Even so it is not the will of our father which is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." Mark 9:42: "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and he were cast into the sea." Isn't killing worse than offending?

Roe vs. Wade did no good being overturned when they now can kill babies until birth. Consider the pain inflicted when scissors are jabbed into babies' bodies to reap parts to make lots of money selling them! The claim that we must abort babies because there won't be enough food to feed the population in the future is ridiculous. How can they then justify allowing millions of illegals coming into our country that we must feed, clothe, provide medical care for, give driver's licenses to and give cell phones to? This makes absolutely no sense. We can only pray for an end to these ridiculous actions.
