This last Saturday, I was up in Alexandria visiting from the Cities and thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday Art Market in Big Ole Central Park.
I remember attending this last year and I am looking forward to returning when I am back in Alexandria.
The combination of fresh foods, art and music was wonderful. Collecting some fresh baked goods and produce, looking at the beautiful woodwork and other art and listening to the music outdoors is the absolute BEST. The magic of art and music to bring people together is proven to foster community.
