To the editor:
Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra would like to thank this community for the overwhelming support for our fundraising gala held on Sunday, Oct. 17 at Carlos Creek Winery. It was an amazing event and so successful due to all the support that we received from not only all of the great businesses who donated to the silent auction, but to the great staff at Carlos Creek. It was the largest turnout we have ever had, and we added a new wrinkle in having a live auction of three amazing items, which sparked a wild bidding war!
Support for the orchestra, now in its 13th season, has only grown and gotten stronger as we have moved the bar higher every year. We strive every year to be better, to increase the difficulty of our musical accomplishments, to expand on our collaborative partnerships across this great state and to draw in new listeners who relish the opportunity to experience great music without having to drive to the Metropolitan area.
Thank you for helping us to light new flames of interest and to sustain the glow!
Sandy Susag, executive director of the Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra
