To the editor:

I was talking to a woman at the gun range. I asked her if she had a permit to carry a concealed pistol. She said she did.
I asked her if someone was holding her at gunpoint telling her to give him her money or her car keys, did she have the right to shoot that person? She said absolutely she did have the right.
I asked her if a person was holding her at gunpoint and trying to force her into a car, did she have the right to shoot that person? She said absolutely she did have that right.
I asked her if she was forced to have sex with a person that was holding her at gunpoint, did she have the right to shoot that person? She said absolutely she did have that right.
I asked her if she was unable to defend herself against the rape and was impregnated by the rapist, did she have the right to get an abortion? She said no, she did not have that right.
