Letter: Many schools adopting aspects of controversial Critical Race Theory

To the editor:

Has the “woke” movement hit your local schools yet? If not, it likely will soon. In the name of “equity,” many Minnesota public schools are adopting aspects of the controversial Critical Race Theory (CRT), dividing students by the color of their skin.

Meanwhile, the state is re-writing our social studies standards to emphasize today’s version of political correctness at the expense of key events and ideas that shaped our state's and nation’s history.
