Letter: Integrity of election must be investigated
To the editor:
In 2018 and 2019, Sen. Klobuchar recognized the vulnerabilities of the electronic voting machines. It appears that those vulnerabilities have been exploited in the last presidential election.
There are multiple witnesses to near-simultaneous stoppage of the ballot counts in large metropolitan areas in the battleground states. Multiple affidavits reference Republican poll watchers being prevented from being close enough to the ballots to properly oversee the ballot counting. There is testimony that there were large ballot count spikes in favor of Joe Biden in which Joe Biden received over 90% of the votes during these times of restricted access. There are also reports of turnout in some of these metropolitan precincts greater than 100% of eligible voters.
The integrity of this election must be investigated. Every illegitimate vote counted voids a legitimate vote and disenfranchises them. I urge you to encourage Sen. Klobuchar to take action consistent with her previous concerns about our voting machines and the integrity of our elections.
