To the editor:
Because my Minnesota driver’s license expired during COVID-19 stay-at-home restrictions, I contacted the Douglas County License Bureau for assistance with my renewal. I also requested special consideration with the renewal process because I am vulnerable to the virus due to my age and compromised immune system.
Susan Crotteau, director of our license bureau, contacted me personally, and most graciously went out of her way to accommodate my special needs in a safe manner.
I am writing this letter of support for the Douglas County Licensing Bureau and a heart-felt thank you to Susan Crotteau and her entire department!
It is an honor to live in this Alexandria area community and have such fine resources and people who care about helping one another stay well and safe.
