To the readers of the Echo Press,
I want to bring meaningful enlargement of the footprint of the city Alexandria, for balanced taxation and numerous economic gains including from ALP, into the election debt of 2020! Also making our airport a part 139 facility to handle scheduled air service and meaningful charter flights.
To make this happen, I propose we start the process of annexing in all of Alexandria and LaGrand townships ASAP. The west two thirds of Carlos Township, the east half of Ida Township and the north half of both Hudson and Lake Mary townships ASAP!
No, it’s not a money grab like Douglas County Commissions falsely told the mayor and city council. Rather the start of governing efficiency, fairness and conformity, even to the fat cat lake and business friends just outside city limits, where our commissioners continue to shower them with privilege!
