Letter: An observation on cleanliness in Evansville

To the editor:
My husband and I were in the city of Evansville looking at property to buy. We saw the City Hall and decided to stop and get information on properties that were for sale.
We were appalled when entering the building and offices of the city as to how dirty the city offices were. Hygiene must not be a priority. COVID must not also be a concern; the door to the clerk's office says employees only. But there were people in the clerk's office.
There was a service window obviously that does not get used.
This is just an observation from the outside.
