Letter: An Alexandria veteran is blessed with generosity

To the editor:

There are still good people around and they should get some acknowledgement.

Thursday, Jan. 6., my wife and I were having breakfast at Jan’s Place and someone noticed my veteran’s cap and paid our bill. When we went up to pay, we were told that someone wanting to be anonymous had paid for us.

That is the second time that I have been blessed with the generosity of a person I that I wasn’t able to thank, so if you are one of those people, thank you very much.
