To the editor:

I am from Boy Scout Troop 418. I am writing this letter for one of my merit badges. I am writing about a local topic that puts a lot of people in danger.

Last week I was near the intersection of Third and Broadway and an ambulance came speeding down the road, going to a scene, and the ambulance was weaving through traffic because people weren’t pulling over. Suddenly, a car pulled out of the liquor store, right in front of the ambulance. Luckily, the car pulled back into the parking lot and no one was hurt, but that could have been really bad.

My whole point is that people need to pay more attention to emergency vehicles.
