To the editor:

President George W. Bush has been called liar, devil, the worst president we ever had, and when Hillary needed to justify her voting for the Iraq war, she said, "I was duped by a dope!" He's taken all this mean garbage without retaliation. Some acknowledge what a terrific president he was to keep away terrorist attacks for 7-1/2 years, which certainly is top priority!

He tried correcting the Wall Street mess but got nowhere with the Democrat Congress and it was Democrats and not him that insisted people unable to make a down payment on a house should be granted a loan. He wasn't perfect, being too lax on illegal immigration and didn't veto enough spending, but was truthful, sincere and a Christian. He never associated with people like Obama's minister who wanted God to damn America and called a white woman "trash."

Democrat Harry Reid once stated we had lost the Iraq war, just to make him look bad and said he had no right to send troops to war when he hadn't served in the Army. He was in the National Guard. Clinton and Obama haven't served one day in the military.

I doubt we'd have a recession today had they not begun faking one when our economy was good. They did desperate, crooked things to win the election and people became fearful and stopped spending. They bashed him but most TV stations promoted and covered up for Obama endlessly. They criticized his military spending while Obama's plan to cut it 25 percent is dangerous.

President Bush deserves apologies I suspect he'll never get.
