Letter to the Editor: Liberalism is so confusing

To the editor:

In 2009, the Vermont state government ordered that Isabella Miller be permanently separated from her biological mother Lisa Miller. That decision was celebrated by the left.

Now, the left decries the children of illegal aliens being temporarily separated from their parents by the government. SO, does that mean that the left, along with the state of Vermont, needs to hastily backtrack on the matter of Lisa and Isabella Miller now?

Liberalism is so confusing.
