To the editor:
We had hoped to order Pizza Hut on their first day open but decided to hold off after seeing posts about them running out of things, people not being able to get through, etc.
I was disappointed at some of the things being posted on social media. This is a brand new business with what I'm assuming is a mostly brand new staff. Show kindness and patience if you're trying to be among the first to order. Like every business, there are going to be some bumps. Give them time and grace to let their staff work things out.
Be glad that someone saw value in our community, and that they've made an investment to be a part of Alexandria.
We can't wait for stuffed crust pizza!
