To the editor:

I would think that it would be prudent for the extremely wealthy who have profited handsomely from the recession to not overreach themselves or we will experience a sudden revolution by the middle class that is slowly bearing more and more of the tax burden, and that cannot bode well for big business, oil cartels, overweening corporations, conscienceless insurance companies and individual moneybags, who are currently riding the wave of excess profits.

Marx warned that capitalism has within itself the seeds of its own destruction as graft and greed become ever more rampant, and that point has about been reached as private and public unions are destroyed, and former middle class citizens are permanently found to be among the jobless and homeless numbering in the million.

Loading down our Congresspersons with money for their reelection campaigns and thus currying ever more favors cannot go on forever without dire consequences. It will not just be the misguided Tea Party candidates who will be out for blood but the entire middle and lower classes. Then the tumbrels will roll and the arrogant wealthy will feel the full force of uncontrollable mobs out for vengeance and redress of grievances carting them off to the guillotine, no mercy shown.

The tipping point has just about been reached. If I were raking in huge profits today while the lower classes are footing the bill for budget reduction alone, and losing all entitlements as the rich are provided with ever more loopholes to protect their accumulated wealth, I would not be sleeping well even though I might be living in a gated community and have fortune tucked away in foreign banks and investments.
