Letter: Biden wasn't lost and humiliated during Obama's speech

To the editor:
Al Edenloff’s column on the Opinion page (urging people to write letters to the editor) convinced me to write this letter.
About the letter on “Poor old Joe Biden, lost and humiliated” (April 20). I watched that Obama speech at the White House and saw the crowd reaction, which I thought was normal. That’s what crowds do. President Biden has been around Washington so long, I’m sure he understands crowds. I thought Biden looked like what he is — a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, a world gone crazy. He was definitely not “lost, humiliated”!
I disagree with another statement Ken Krueger made in that letter. He said that Biden made his own bed. Trump made Biden's bed, and he made it as lumpy as he could. Trump is such a sore loser he is still trying to make things difficult for Biden and the Democrats.
Actually, I thank God every day that Trump did not get re-elected president, and that we are still a democracy.
