Susan Seltz

It’s with a deep level of sadness our family said final goodbyes to Sue on the afternoon of Friday, May 21st, 2021.

Susan R. Seltz was born on March 26, 1947, in Fargo, North Dakota to Elgene and Alan Graves. Sue was married to Jack Seltz on February 26, 1972 at the United Church of Christ by Jack’s Father, Rev. Al Seltz. Together, they had two children, Joseph and Jacob.

Those that knew Sue best will miss her for her wit, caring attitude, infectious energy and creativity. It was rare to find Sue sitting still - she was a doer, constantly on her feet pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities, exploring new hobbies, raising her kids and traveling. It was her subtle, unassuming, and understated personality that made her so special and unique.

Sue accomplished many things during her life, including raising her two boys with her husband, Jack, successfully launching two restaurants in the Twin Cities “The French Loaf” and “The Ediner”, and creating a personalized pottery business, “Lazy Susan Recipe Pots.”

Susan is forever loved and missed by many – she is survived by her husband, Jack, Sons, Jake and Joe, Daughter’s in Law, Lauren and Kimberlee and Granddaughter, Whitney.

Sue has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Animal Humane Society.

The Seltz family has planned a small gathering at Sue’s home, 934 Anderson Way in Alexandria MN, on Saturday, May 29th. Please feel free to stop by the home between 1:00 - 4:00 PM.
