Stuart A. Johnson

Stuart Alan Johnson, 74, of Oak Grove, MN passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Stuart was born on June 3, 1946, in Alexandria, MN, the son of Alphonse and Verna (Hushagen) Johnson. He attended District 66 one-room school in Spruce Hill and graduated from high school in Alexandria in 1964. In 1966 he entered the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Stuart lived and worked in Minneapolis for a number of years and then moved to Florida. He worked as a cabinet builder for several firms, most recently at Coastal Cabinets in Flagler Beach, FL. He moved back to Minnesota in 2008 and lived on the farm site where he was raised for a number of years. Stuart enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt.

Stuart is survived by his sisters Sharon (Dick) Bjerkaas and Anita (Steve) Dabelow, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. His request was that his body be donated for research.
