Kay Louise Wollin

Kay Wollin, 72, of New Prague, passed away peacefully surrounded family on March 3, 2023. Kay was born on February 28, 1951,  in Alexandria, MN to Freddie Glade Olson & Marion Louise Olson (Bartholeme) and attended Alexandria Public Schools. March 8,  1967, Kay married Bill Howard Wollin in Watertown, SD. The couple moved to New Prague, where they raised their 3 sons. In 2004,  Kay and Bill purchased a home in Le Sueur & lived there until Bill died in 2016. Kay returned to New Prague where she remained  until her passing. Kay worked and retired from Allen Advertising. Family was her first priority. She was the happiest when spending  time with her boys and family. While raising her boys, they spent time at Nelson’s Bass Point on Lake Geneva, a resort owned by  her beloved Aunt Birdyne. Kay’s final resting place will be next to Bill in Geneva Cemetery, which overlooks Bass Point.  Kay is  survived by her three sons, Joel, Troy & Billy. Grandchildren Sara (Alex) Sandey, Casey (Jordon), Sam, Jacob (Lexi), Rylee and  Kaylee, five great-grandchildren, and her brothers Larry, Brad, Mike and Butch, and father-in-law Joseph Peerboom. She is  preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wollin, her parents, Freddie and Marion Olson, brother Dan Olson, sister Theresa Porter  Sherman, and grandson, Brandon Wollin. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 11AM to 2PM in  the Park Ballroom, New Prague. Visitation will take place from 11 AM to service time.
