Brian Kohler

Brian David Kohler, 43, of Alexandria, Minnesota, passed away on February 24th at home surrounded by loved ones.

Brian was born to Steven and Jill Kohler on November 24, 1979, at Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Brian was an independent and vibrant person who excelled at everything he put his mind to. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1998 and went on to start many businesses. Brian poured his heart and soul into his companies. They were his pride and joy, and his life’s work. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved watching the MN Twins and Boxing.

Blessed with a tremendous sense of humor, Brian possessed a remarkably positive attitude despite his very difficult circumstances. Brian’s disability never got in the way of his ambitions, and he was kind beyond measure. We will miss Brian’s smile that would light up the room. His family is comforted to know that he is at peace in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home with a Parish Prayer Service at 4:00 PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 1, 2023, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, or trees, donations are preferred to the Spinal Cord Society (www.scsus.org).  Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
