Nancy Alto

Nancy Eileen (Halvorson) Alto passed away after a 40 plus year battle with MS at the Cornerstone Residence in Kelliher, MN on May 24, 2020 at the age of 76. She was born on February 26, 1944 in Glenwood, MN and graduated from Jefferson Senior High in Alexandria, MN. She married Steve Alto on August 21, 1965. She was a long time employee of the Douglas County Hospital as an LPN. She loved spending time and traveling with her close nursing friends. The joy of her life during her later years was being able to have many years with her grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her husband Steve Alto, son Dan (Shannon) Alto, daughter Deborah Cembrook, daughter Denise Alto; grandchildren, Hannah, Katie, Nathan, and Ana. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
