Jerry Dale Rupert, 78, of Maple Grove passed away May 17, 2020 at the Saint Paul Veterans Hospital. Jerry was the oldest of 7 children born to Clarence and Bernadine (Johnson) Rupert. Jerry attended his school years in Alexandria MN, then enlisted in the US Navy where he served four years as a radar operator. Jerry married his wife Linda Rupert of 41 years and they built their home in Maple Grove MN where Jerry was a Glazier by trade and ran his own business. Jerry was the father of four children, Greg (Barbie) grandchildren Eric and Annie, Joel (Robin) grandchildren Kenny, Tara and Jared, Scott (Kris) and daughter Tracey granddaughter Jennifer(Justin). He had many nieces and nephews that he loved. Jerry was preceded in death by parents Clarence, Bernadine, brothers Larry, Barry, Tommy, and sister Sandy. Jerry’s son Joel sadly passed 8 days after Jerry which gives the family strength knowing that they are all together. Jerry is survived by his wife Linda, his dog Chloe, four children, 6 grandchildren, sister Judy and brother Jimmy(Marlene). The family are planning a celebration of life at a later time.
