Delmar John Dobmeyer

Delmar J. Dobmeyer, 88, of Inver Grove Heights (formerly Alexandria), passed away on July 3, 2021. Del was a graduate of South Saint Paul High School class of 1950. After graduating high school he joined the United States Navy, where he served in the Korean War. Del enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He especially loved living at his lake home in Alexandria. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed. Del is preceded in death by his parents Ferdinand and Catherine, and sister, Lois. Del is survived by his wife of 65 years, Agnes; children, Dan Dobmeyer, Jeanne Nielsen (Mitch), Kathy McPhillips (Bill), Doug Dobmeyer (Angie); grandchildren, Josh (fiancé Gina), Amanda (Bryan), Jay, Ally, Zach, Luke; great-grandchildren, Rilynn, Mara, and Crew; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. There will be a small service for immediate family members only held in Osakis, MN.
