Conrad Clifford Patrick
In August 1937, Conrad Clifford Patrick was born to Harold and Dorothy (Lorenz) Patrick in Alexandria, Minnesota. Conrad was looked up to and idolized by eight younger siblings. While growing up on a farm he quickly learned that there was always work to be done molding him into the hardworking man he became. When reminiscing about his high school days he would tell you that his favorite day was “senior skip day”. It was on that day that he was lucky enough to land himself a date with the cute, little blonde cheerleader, Carole Danielson. Conrad and Carole married and were blessed with four children, Kevin, Kent, Kimberly, and Conrad Jr. Conrad moved his young family to Beloit, Wisconsin when he started his career in 1964 with Culligan International as a Field Service Representative. In 1967 they relocated to Butte des Morts, Wisconsin where he continued furthering his career at Culligan retiring as the Executive Vice-President of Water Quality Improvement. It was at this time that he met Bill Lucas and they immediately became best friends. With Bill’s help Conrad built the family home. This is the home that his eight grandchildren learned how wonderful a grandpa’s love could be. This is the home that his seven great-grandchildren went to visit their Gpa. This is the home that his family surrounded him and held him in their arms as he took his last breath. Some may say, “he is gone”, but others who have gone before him are glad to shout, “here he comes”.
There will be a private memorial service held for immediate family. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for St. Mary Catholic Church-Winneconne or the Butte des Morts Lions Club.
