Carroll James “CJ” Hillesland of Plymouth, MN, passed away at age 82 on November 25th, 2020.

Preceded in death by his parents, Stella and Lewis Hillesland, and Judy Hillesland.

Survived by daughters, Kris (Brian) Wickett, Laurie (John) Lishman; and grandchildren Jessica and Brennen Lishman. He is also survived by his loving sister Donna Eastman, and brother Larry (Judy), three nieces and their families.

CJ grew up near Alexandria, MN, graduated from the U of MN, and after a long career in technology, retired from Peavey Company / Conagra. He loved spending time with family and friends, sports, traveling, anything involving music and especially enjoyed time at the family lake home. He will be missed by many. Those of us that knew him have been truly blessed.

A celebration of CJ’s life will be held on December 15th at 1:00pm. We wish we could connect with each of you, but due to COVID-19, the service will be limited to family at Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley (7520 Golden Valley Rd.).
