Bruce Roy Heid

Bruce Roy Heid, age 63, of Lander, WY (formerly of Nelson, MN) went home to be with Jesus on November 9, 2020 from the Huntsmen Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City.

He was born in Mandan, ND on March 25, 1957.  When he was very young, his family moved to a farm near Nelson, MN.  He attended elementary school in Carlos and high school in Alexandria.

His lifetime profession was carpentry and construction.  When it came to building or fixing, he was always up to the task whether it be in Minnesota, Texas, Nevada, Utah or Wyoming.  Eventually, Wyoming became his home.

Making friends was easy for Bruce because of his caring and generous nature.  He would give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it.  His demeanor was always calm, telling those around him, “not to worry.”

Bruce will be missed by his sisters, Kathleen (Harold) Withers, Renee (Mark) Boesen, Collette (Bill) Jarvi, Mike (Renee) Becker (who Bruce befriended as a brother), special friend, Jeree Hudson (who became his caretaker and confidante), many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, LaVonne Tweet, brother in law Dick Tweet and nephew Denis Tweet.

Burial arrangements will take place at a later date.
