Vivian A. Bushman

Vivian Bloedorn Bushman, 88, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born on March 21, 1931 in a sod house on the western prairie in Leoti, Kansas, daughter of the late William and Eva Olga (Brack) Bloedorn.

Vivian had a varied and interesting work life; her roles included factory work, secretarial work for a large international corporation, and waitressing at various restaurants and diners. In fact, she was serving food to patrons at Driver's Choice Restaurant in Buffalo Center, IA, into her 80's.

She loved to garden, crochet, sew, and cook. Neighbors and friends looked forward to her trays of cookies every Christmas.

Vivian had a strong faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior and in the teachings of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include son, Allen (Mary Ellen) Marnholtz, Wausau, WI; daughter, Gail (Bryan) Bloch, Athens, WI; sister, Carol Braun, Littleton, CO; brother, Richard (Dawn) Bloedorn, Oakdale, MN; grandson, William (Amanda) Marnholtz, Rochester, MN; granddaughters, Heather (Ryan) Egan, Menasha, WI; Ashley (Jason) Baeseman, Edgar, WI; and Danielle Bloch, Merrill, WI; great-grandson, August Marnholtz, Rochester, MN; great-granddaughter, Isla Marnholtz, Rochester, MN.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Olga Bloedorn, and husband, Robert Bushman.

Memorial services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center, IA with burial at Lydia Zion Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
