Mobile vaccine bus to make stops in Todd County

The mobile vaccine bus will be offering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine free of charge to anyone age 18 and older. You do not need to make an appointment; anyone is able to walk up to the bus and get vaccinated.

A mobile vaccine bus is coming to Todd County.

Todd County Health and Human Services is encouraging residents to get on board to get their free COVID-19 vaccine, calling it one of the most important steps you can take to protect yourself and your community.

The mobile vaccine bus will be in Todd County May 17-20 at the following locations:

Monday, May 17, 2 to 8 p.m. at the Long Prairie Fire Department.

Tuesday, May 18, 2 to 8 p.m. at the Clarissa Fire Department.

Wednesday, May 19, 2 to 8 p.m. at the Wayside Park in Bertha.

Thursday, May 20, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ernie’s Food Market in Staples.

The mobile vaccine bus will be offering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine free of charge to anyone age 18 and older. You do not need to make an appointment; anyone is able to walk up to the bus and get vaccinated.

No insurance or identification is needed. The bus has all the same equipment and cleanliness as a regular vaccination site, according to Todd County Health and Human Services. Staff and volunteers will be at the event and can answer any questions before and during the bus visit.
