COVID-19 is spreading across West Central Minnesota, including the communities that Horizon Public Health serves.

In particular, Douglas County has seen an increase with 103 active cases as of Tuesday, Sept. 29.

In response, Horizon Public Health is asking everyone to consider the role they can play in helping to reduce the spread of the virus.

"As we have increased social, work, school and activity contacts and it is important for each of us to think about how our choices might affect others we come into contact with and come together as a community to protect each other," Horizon Public Health said in a news release Tuesday. "Every contact you have puts you at higher risk to of exposure to the virus and the potential to spread it to others."
