New federal guidance now directs state deputy registrars to provide limited services.
In accordance with this guidance, the Douglas County License Bureau will provide title and registration services.
Beginning Tuesday, April 7, the drop box on the exterior of the license bureau will be open to accept vehicle, boat and ATV tab renewals.
A license bureau staff person will take phone calls from people needing to transfer a vehicle, boat or ATV or renew registration. Douglas County residents are asked to call 320-762-3897.
There will be no in-person transactions. The doors to the license bureau will remain closed to the public.
