Funeral services have been scheduled for a 41-year-old Garfield man who died Monday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car near Garfield.
Mark David Hagstrom was driving his motorcycle on County Road 40 when it collided with a car, driven by Paul Douglas Uhde, 37, of Garfield, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Hagstrom was pronounced dead at the scene. Uhde was reportedly not injured.
The crash, which occurred shortly before 5 p.m. near the intersection of County Roads 40 and 56 in Ida Township, is still under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol, Garfield First Responders, Garfield Fire Department and North Ambulance also responded to the scene.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. this Friday at the Nora Lutheran Church in Kensington. Visitation will take place at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Hoffman from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and resume at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
