Donations jingled in for the 66th annual Jingle Bells Telethon Saturday.

Organized by the Jingle Bells Foundation and the Alexandria Jaycees, the event raised nearly $75,000 by the time the telethon ended at 10 p.m.

The event took place at the Lake Geneva Christian Center.

The Jingle Bells telethon provides food and toys during the holiday season to Alexandria area families. Last year’s event raised $95,000, enabling the distribution of more than 1,000 food baskets and toys.
