A two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning sent two people to the hospital.
Rosemary Etzel, 65, of Alexandria and Charles Bluhm, 56, of Garfield, were transported via ambulance to Douglas County Hospital.
At about 8 a.m., the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Garfield Fire Department, Garfield First Responders and North Ambulance responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 61 and Bedman Drive near Garfield.
Extrication was needed to free Bluhm out of his vehicle. He was later transferred to the St. Cloud Hospital, according to the sheriff's report.
As of Thursday morning, he was listed in fair condition.

Etzel was treated and released following the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
