A Brookings, South Dakota woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Douglas County Road 7 near Brandon Friday afternoon, May 28.
Bradford Johnson, 61, of Minneapolis was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Golf south on County Road 7 and was turning onto Interstate 94 and Robert Whitaker, 49, of Brookings was driving a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country north on County Road 7 when the two vehicles collided at about 4 p.m., according to the State Patrol.
A passenger in the Chrysler, Karen Whitaker, 53, of Brookings, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Alomere Health in Alexandria. She was the only one injured in the crash. Both drivers and two other passengers in the Chrysler weren't injured, according to the State Patrol.
They were all wearing seatbelts.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Brandon Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance responded to the scene.
